    Rachel Cohen

    Chief Growth Officer, MetroStar

MetroStar’s appointment of its first female chief officer represents the company’s commitment to diversity at all levels of the organization. Rachel Cohen joined MetroStar as the chief growth officer last year and has since made strides that reflect the overall advancement of technology solutions in government and MetroStar’s subsequent evolution.

“Rachel’s career exemplifies the possibilities that are created when you empower talented and passionate leaders to transform companies, customers and industries,” said Mo Hessabi, MetroStar chief operating officer. “We are proud to have her at MetroStar, growing future leaders in government contracting.

In her role, Cohen brings 25-plus years of GovCon experience and recently led MetroStar’s growth and operations teams through their largest proposal in the company’s 23-year history.

“The proposal was a true team effort, involving our solutions architects, account leads, marketing and regional growth leadership, and, of course, our amazing proposal team,” Cohen said.

    Why Watch

Cohen’s team focuses on executing deliberate and sustained growth strategies that maximize artificial intelligence advances within the public sector. She noted the company’s differentiator is its ability to understand customers’ missions deeply and deploy revolutionary solutions and digital services that enable those missions.

“Growth is hard; it is not for the meek,” she said. “People prefer working for MetroStar because we embrace the mission and culture of client service, innovation and teamwork that a company this size offers. Actions speak louder than words, and the investments we make in our growth, R&D, and people are what matter.”
