    Doug Wagoner, LMI

LMI President and CEO Doug Wagoner will be honored at the 25th annual Good Scout Technology Award luncheon Nov. 2 at the Tysons Corner Marriott in Virginia.

The annual award, given by the Boy Scouts of America National Capital Area Council, recognizes outstanding area technology leaders who exemplify the values of the scout oath and law in daily life.

Recent past winners include SAIC’s Nazzic Keene in 2021, ManTech’s Kevin Phillips in 2020 and Perspecta’s Mac Curtis in 2019.

Since Wagoner became LMI president and CEO in summer of 2020, he has witnessed the company being designated a top workplace in the area, overseen the acquisition of Suntiva and renewed a companywide focus on supporting underrepresented groups.

Prior to LMI, he was an executive at SAIC. Wagoner has led companies providing data analytics, cybersecurity, digital transformation, logistics, training/simulation and space services. Before joining SAIC, he was senior vice president of DSA Inc., where he led the strategic direction, business development and line operations. He also served as senior vice president at ChoicePoint (now LexisNexis Risk Solutions).

Wagoner’s career began at EDS, where he held financial management roles and served as the chief financial officer for the organization’s Mexican subsidiary before moving into business development in the defense sector.

The reception begins at noon with lunch and the program follows at 12:30 p.m. Visit here for more information.
