Google recently spun off its public sector-focused business line from Google Cloud to an independent division focused on federal, state and local government, and education customers. The subsidiary is called Google Public Sector, and its recently named CEO Will Grannis joined WashingtonExec’s Amanda Ziadeh to discuss his new role and responsibilities, and priorities going forward. Grannis, who previously led Google Cloud’s Office of the CTO, explains the value the new business unit brings to the public sector and what challenges he’s helping federal agencies solve.
