Senior Vice President of Human Resources, SAIC

Since joining Science Applications International Corp. in 2021, Heather Wilson has played a pivotal role in improving the company’s organizational strategy to enhance the employee experience and support business objectives.

Wilson, who supports the company’s $4.7 billion defense and civilian business of more than 14,000 employees, leads with a business-centric and action-oriented approach. This was instrumental in creating a strategy that expanded employee benefits for calendar year 2022. Wilson and SAIC’s HR team successfully delivered an industry-leading benefits package that provides more work flexibility and support for employees and their families.

”At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, SAIC leaders recognized there was a shift in employee expectations,” Wilson said. “We worked quickly to develop a strategy that prioritized the well-being of our employees, to improve the overall employee experience.”

Wilson is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment to support employees and is the lead coach for SAIC’s AccelerātHER Women’s Leadership Academy.

“Our goal is to have our employees thrive in all aspects of their lives, so they are able to do their best work,” she said.
