    Tammy Kness

Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Communications, GDIT

Tammy Kness’ recent achievements include helping to define and build GDIT’s culture around three foundational elements: employee engagement; mental health awareness and support; and connectedness and inclusion.

“I am proud of our progress and the recognition we are receiving in the market, including being honored in 2022 for top employer awards and advancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace,” she said.

    Why Watch

In 2022, Kness and her team are focused on career growth and continuous professional development. In November, GDIT is launching a dynamic tech-forward career hub for employees to map career paths; to understand how their skills and experience align to new career opportunities; and to lean into opportunities for new skills, tech certifications and mobility.

“I’m proud to be part of a company that is people-focused in everything we do,” Kness said. “For every significant decision about programs, benefits and offerings, we start by listening and engaging employees on what matters to them and their families, now and into the future as they grow their careers at GDIT.

“We continue to bring innovation to the employee experience, through new tools and platforms that drive networking, learning and growth — all to make our large organization feel smaller and more inclusive for every employee to thrive.”
