Accenture Federal Services has appointed Ron Ash as its new chief operating officer and Elaine Beeman as chief leadership officer.
“I’m immensely excited to step into the Chief Operating Officer role to accelerate our strategic priorities and help our clients achieve mission success,” Ash said. “I also look forward to supporting the talented and diverse people at Accenture Federal Services to advance in their careers. This is truly an outstanding opportunity.”
Ash, who steps into his new role after the retirement of Kenny Mitchell, began his career with Accenture serving clients in various industries focused on supply chain transformation. He most recently was the company’s safety and citizen services portfolio lead, and also has served as the client account lead for the departments of State and Justice. Ash has also led the Strategy & Consulting Growth Platform and is a supporter of the company’s Hispanic American Employee Resource Group.
As chief leadership officer, Beeman will focus on employee experience and succession planning, and will collaborate closely with Accenture Federal Services’ COO, chief human resources officer, portfolio leads and the I&D Council to advance leadership development efforts. She will also continue leading the company’s civilian portfolio.
“Leadership development is a fundamental part of building an exceptional workplace for our employees,” Beeman said. “I look forward to coaching, mentoring, and inspiring the extraordinary talent within Accenture Federal Services to take the company’s growth to the next level.”
Beeman first joined the company in 2009 and served as management consulting business lead before taking on the civilian portfolio lead role. There, she focused on career development, employee development and I&D initiatives.
Mitchell will retire after 40 years of service to Accenture, including the last two with Accenture Federal Services in the role of COO.
