Booz Allen Hamilton has been awarded one of only three large business spots on the Federal Aviation Administration’s 10-year Systems Engineering Technical Innovative Solutions contract.

With a $2.26 billion shared ceiling, SETIS will provide a broad range of aviation-related services including research, service analysis, strategic planning, systems engineering, technical, financial and programmatic support services. This will help FAA to accomplish its National Airspace System mission.

“SETIS is an ideal example of Booz Allen’s focus on client missions at the intersection of emerging technology integration, and we couldn’t be prouder of continuing our journey evolving the NAS in support of the FAA,” said Rich Crowe, president of Booz Allen’s civil sector.

FAA is working to continuously make air travel safer and embrace innovation through the integration of new entrants and new technologies.

“The FAA has significant challenges and opportunities ahead as it seeks to modernize and evolve the safest, most complex, and busiest air transportation system in the world,” said Trevor McKnight, who will serve as Booz Allen’s SETIS program manager.

“Building on the accomplishments of the FAA’s NextGen infrastructure program, we are honored to continue partnering with the FAA and expand on our highly successful delivery under the SE2020 contract,” he added.
