SA Environmental Services, a joint venture between Amentum and its Mentor-Protégé partner Sevenson, has won a position on the Small Business Environmental Remediation Services Multiple Award Task Order Contract.

Under this contract, SA Environmental Services will provide environmental sustainability expertise for hazardous, toxic and radioactive waste remediation projects for multiple civilian and military agencies.

“Amentum is proud to be a leader in providing environmental remediation services to the U.S. government,” said Jim Blankenhorn, senior vice president for Amentum’s environment and security. “The mentor protégé agreement we have with Sevenson is an outstanding example of two companies working together to successfully support our client’s critical mission.”

The Environmental Remediation Services contract is in support of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division and Environmental Protection Agency Region 2. The contracts share a maximum total ordering capacity in the amount of $60 million and task orders may be placed during a base ordering period of three years and option of two years and six months.

“Sevenson is excited to kick off our Mentor-Protégé Partnership with Amentum on this win out of USACE Kansas City,” said Andy Wright, vice president of federal programs for Sevenson Environmental.
