Lorraine Corcoran has joined CACI International as executive vice president of corporate communications, succeeding Jody Brown who retired June 30 after over four decades of service.
In her new role, Corcoran will lead the company’s internal and external communications functions and report directly to President and CEO John Mengucci.
“Lorraine intrinsically understands our market, our customers and our mission,” Mengucci said. “She knows how to drive communications as a strategic business function and deliver internal and external programs that will support the achievement of our short- and long-term business objectives. I look forward to welcoming Lorraine and am confident that she will be an incredible asset to CACI’s leadership team.”
Corcoran brings 25 years of experience in marketing communications, branding, PR, internal communications and corporate social responsibility to CACI. She most recently was vice president of corporate and marketing communications at Perspecta Inc., where she created the company’s brand that launched in 2018.
At Perspecta, Corcoran also led all communications functions and played a leading role in the sale of the business in 2021. Before that, she has held marketing and communications roles since 2004 at government contracting firms in the manufacturing and service sectors.
Corcoran was also named Marketing Executive of the Year at WashingtonExec’s 2019 Pinnacle Awards.
Mengucci thanked Brown for her leadership and contributions to CACI’s growth.
“Throughout her career she worked tirelessly to develop and sustain CACI’s brand and stellar reputation,” he said. “Her support has been invaluable to me and all of my predecessors and we wish her the best of luck in her retirement.
