WashingtonExec has announced the launch of its new Pricing Council and the council’s chairman, Fred Avila, vice president of pricing solutions for the mission technologies division of Huntington Ingalls Industries.

This is WashingtonExec’s 27th and newest council. The Pricing Council is committed to facilitating collaborative relationships among industry pricing leaders and senior government acquisition leaders.

“We are thrilled to announce the addition of the Pricing Council to our ever-expanding network of government contracting executives,” said JD Kathuria, founder and CEO of WashingtonExec.

The council aims to build a broader pricing community and foster networking opportunities, increase awareness to government cost evaluators hot spots during price evaluation and strategize on acquisition innovation.

As with the intent of all WashingtonExec’s councils, meetings and events facilitate idea sharing and feedback to share with government.

“We are looking forward to working with an exceptional group of leaders,” Kathuria said. “The Pricing Council is a great opportunity to highlight the necessary and important work of these executives, and create a space for them to collaborate and engage.”
