Rashida Ricks

Vice President, Strategic Engagement and Inclusion, CGI Federal

An established executive whose career at CGI Federal spans nearly 20 years, Rashida Ricks started her most recent role reporting directly to CGI Federal President Stephanie Mango. In this position, Ricks is responsible for integrating diversity, equity and inclusion into CGI Federal’s strategic vision, planning and implementation initiatives.

Ricks was selected for this role because of her vast experience in transforming program portfolios and building innovative solutions in collaboration with members, clients and business partners.

Intentionally approaching all aspects of the business through a DE&I lens has garnered great success and has positioned Ricks for this opportunity. In her short tenure in this role, she has launched the SEI practice building DE&I into the fabric of CGI Federal’s operations and business strategies.

Why Watch

In 2022, Ricks and her team are focused on aligning to the company’s DE&I strategy and moving the business forward through four dimensions — culture, community, clients and careers — aimed at providing a more equitable and inclusive environment for all CGI Federal employees.

“At CGI Federal, DEI is a continuous journey that reinforces a culture of learning, allyship and advocacy, strengthening the organization’s capacity to build business value for its clients, members and shareholders,” Ricks said.

With goals of moving the industry forward, Ricks believes that, “Empathy is the thread that connects IT to DEI because it leads to understanding and collaboration which fuels innovation and accessibility.”
