Scott Recinos
Vice President, Homeland Security Market, LMI
Scott Recinos said his team was privileged to earn exceptional performance ratings across all prime Department of Homeland Security contracts for each rating period in 2021.
“This is an incredible accomplishment as exceptional ratings require additional justification from the government — it’s much easier to rate a company as ‘very good’ or ‘satisfactory,'” he said. “It’s my honor to lead such a talented team of professionals who are dedicated to the missions of their clients.”
Why Watch
In 2022, Recinos and his team will continue to ensure they innovate while exceeding customer expectations. He believes they must do both simultaneously — provide the day-to-day services customers have come to expect, and anticipate their problems and present solutions though innovation (preferably before they even know the problem exists).
“We have some of the smartest, most talented, and most innovative professionals in federal government consulting working at LMI,” he said. “It’s a privilege to lead such a dedicated group of colleagues as they support DHS in keeping our country safe, secure and resilient.”
Recinos is especially interested in bringing potential DHS challenges to LMI’s software innovation accelerator, known as The Forge. He and his team are working on a number of software prototypes based on DHS pain points Recinos thinks will prove to be helpful to DHS in the years to come.
“Scott has done an outstanding job setting a clear vision for the teams that help our Department of Homeland Security clients achieve mission success,” said Pete Pflugrath, senior vice president of LMI markets and growth. “He understands what it takes to exceed client expectations and has made remarkable contributions to LMI’s growth. We are proud to have a professional like Scott on our senior leadership team.”
