Digital services company Ad Hoc has acquired IT services company Cascades Technologies, Inc.

Ad Hoc is growing to support digital services and customer experiences across the federal market space. With this acquisition, Ad Hoc is adding programs at the Financial Regulatory Agency, the General Services Administration and the Labor Department. The company now supports nine federal agencies along with state, private and nonprofit customers.

“I’m so excited to bring Cascades Technologies into the Ad Hoc team and expand the capabilities we can offer customers and the places where our team can help the government better use technology to effectively and efficiently serve people,” said Greg Gershman, Ad Hoc co-founder and CEO.

Herndon, Virginia-based Cascades Technologies has over 24 years of experience providing critical development and operations services to the federal government. The company provides a wide range of IT services from cloud management to application development and Spanish language translation. The acquisition adds to Ad Hoc experience in cloud management, accessibility, bilingual content and operations.

Ad Hoc now has a team of more than 600 technologists.

“Cascades Technologies has proudly served the changing technology needs of our federal customers for 24 years,” said Cascades Technologies founder and Chairman Alfredo Casta. “In Ad Hoc, I’ve found a company that has that same service mindset and the vision to keep helping the government modernize its critical IT systems.”
