    Jason O’Connor

Senior Vice President, Homeland Security Solutions, Leidos

As part of Jason O’Connor’s leadership role with the Leidos Intelligence Group, he has assembled a new team organization. It has focused on team culture and driving high-assurance technical solutions to customers across the intelligence community, and O’Connor sees this as a monumental achievement.

In terms of Leidos’ people, O’Connor has been humbled by their dedication to customers’ missions and the meaningful work they lead on behalf of those customers and national security.

“As leaders, we are measured by the impact of our teams,” O’Connor said. “Make sure your team knows how much you value them.”

    Why Watch

In 2022, O’Connor and his team are heavily focused on the standup of new low-to-high software development capabilities to expand its available workforce, create efficiencies and ensure the highest possible quality in deliveries.

As they continue to navigate the global pandemic and the myriad challenges it has presented — coupled with the geopolitical landscape — O’Connor said it’s important to remain agile and innovative in developing solutions that improve decision-making, mitigate threats and enable better understanding and management of attack surfaces.

“We must be willing lean forward when our customers raise challenges — start with ‘Yes,’” he said.
