Matt Maurer, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for ICF, has won WashingtonExec’s 2022 Chief Officer Award for Chief Marketing Officer in the Public & Private Company category.

WashingtonExec on May 11 unveiled the winners of the Chief Officer Awards, an annual program that recognizes the most impactful and innovative executives in government and industry sitting in the C-suite. Nearly 450 attendees gathered for the in-person luncheon held at the Ritz Carlton in McLean, Virginia.

Maurer noted in his finalist Q+A with WashingtonExec that being a marketer means being a storyteller.

“In my work at ICF, it has been my greatest privilege to share our stories of impact, in partnership with our clients, to make meaningful improvements in services provided to citizens and stakeholders,” he said.

“From advancing IT modernization efforts, to supporting the fight against climate change, to the ongoing turbulence from the COVID-19 pandemic and efforts to enhance public health and much, much more, our best and most powerful marketing is when we simply package up and share the incredible work we do with our government partners.”
