Mary Rose McCaffrey

Vice President, Security, Northrop Grumman

Leading global security for the company, Mary Rose McCaffrey is responsible for the protection of Northrop Grumman employees, facilities and information. She leads the security compliance framework and the company’s crisis management team.

Under McCaffrey’s leadership, Northrop Grumman has worked to enable the secure convergence of classified networks for improved collaboration across the company.

Regarding the project, McCaffrey noted: “The more we can securely enable classified teams to collaborate, the more we can reduce risk, improve timeliness and support our mission. It is ultimately another step toward greater resiliency.”

Why Watch

Securely converging classified networks was a priority for McCaffrey and her team last year. In 2022, they will focus on the maturity of each network, the conversion of users and working with customers on other efforts supporting every evolution of the “factory of the future.”

McCaffrey has been a leading force in helping Northrop Grumman to deliver capability for classified converged networks, which prioritize strategy, customer engagement and enterprise process agility to operationalize and scale and are key enablers in support of customers.

And as McCaffrey said, “Pay it forward; make the organization better than you found it.”
