Marketing and communications executive Jennifer Goodman Horowitz has launched the new marketing, public relations, business development and editorial services firm, Horowitz Marketing Communications.
HMC is a full services agency with a specialization in fueling growth for technology and professional services organizations in the business-to-business and business-to-government arenas.
According to Horowitz, services range from establishing an organization’s marketing and communications department/function to developing a piece of collateral. Featured offerings are:
- Strategic positioning (to include shaping or redefining brands to pivot into new arenas)
- Content marketing
- Digital marketing
- Public relations
- M&A communications (including internal and external messaging and rebranding in support of a merger, acquisition or divestiture)
- Building in-house marketing & communications teams
“Every project, big and small, will be executed by highly qualified professionals with specialized skills as well as industry-specific expertise,” Horowitz said.
Over the course of her career, Horowitz has been credited with playing an instrumental role in shaping and elevating the profile of leading technology and professional services companies such as IBM, SAP, Xerox, Foley & Lardner and (most recently) CGI, where she was vice president of marketing and communications.
Horowitz joined CGI in 2016 and was charged with rebuilding and leading the marketing and communications department of its subsidiary, CGI Federal — an entity that has grown into a $1.4 billion organization. In that time, she restructured and expanded the department from four to 20+ personnel, broadened the scope and led the team to success previously recognized by WashingtonExec.
