    Colleen Campbell

    Chief Marketing Officer, Maxar

Since joining Maxar in August, Colleen Campbell has expanded Maxar’s marketing and communications team, launched a corporate and talent brand refresh, extended relationships with key partners and focused on enhanced customer engagement across all of Maxar’s markets. Her goal: enhancing the company’s global reputation and awareness of its products and services.

“Introducing change into an organization can create excitement,” Campbell said. “I am most proud of Maxar’s marketing and communications team who are embracing the increased demand for their expertise and knowledge and incorporating new technologies and partners into our processes. I am thankful to have an exceptional team that relishes new opportunities and goes above and beyond to achieve our goals.”

In 2022, Maxar is launching the first two of its next-generation high-resolution WorldView Legion satellites in June/July. An additional four satellites should launch shortly after. It continues its work on NASA’s Lunar Gateway mission developing the advanced power and propulsion element for the lunar orbiting command module that will support human missions on the moon, as well as the Psyche mission that will send a Maxar 1300-class bus to a metal-rich asteroid, offering insight into how planet Earth formed.

Maxar is also continuing to grow its work with its U.S. intelligence and Defense Department customers to provide high-resolution satellite imagery and advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning analytics to ensure mission success. It is also advancing further into commercial markets including finance, energy, telecommunications, gaming, environment and climate.

    Why Watch

Maxar provides high-resolution commercial satellite imagery to news outlets and humanitarian organizations during times of conflict or natural disasters. Look for Campbell and her team to continue to extend those partnerships and work with the Maxar Foundation to continue to support STEM education in underserved communities as well as military and veteran organizations. Campbell is also committed to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives within the company.

“The communications and marketing team is thriving under Colleen’s leadership and vision,” said Maxar CEO Dan Jablonsky. “There is increased demand for Maxar’s capabilities in today’s geopolitical and economic environment. Colleen and her team continue to advance Maxar’s global reputation to showcase our comprehensive space solutions and innovation.”
