When three-decade GovCon veteran Teresa Weipert joined Maximus in April 2021, she honed in immediately on modernizing the company’s digital, enterprise IT and business process outsourcing portfolios.
This year, Maximus acquired Attain and Veterans Evaluations Services, dramatically expanding the Maximus portfolio of clients and capabilities. The company has expanded into the Defense Department, increased its clinical footprint at the Department of Veterans Affairs and recently signed a first contract with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Weipert said she was drawn to Maximus because of its reputation for building trust and developing lasting relationships with the agencies and the customers it serves.
“We have worked with clients who knew what we could do and how well we could do it and approached us for ideas,” she said. “It’s about delivering better outcomes for agencies and the people they serve, and delivering a better customer experience utilizing our innovative technology offerings.”
Weipert said Maximus has grown during the COVID-19 pandemic because of its unique ability to rapidly respond to the changing needs of its agency partners and help them deliver critical services at scale for services ranging from vaccine distribution to delivering relief payments.
“During these times of dynamic change, one of the biggest challenges facing federal agencies has been the response time to the requirements of their divisions, quickly, and they must scale to critical demands,” Weipert said. “That is our sweet spot as a company, and our customers understand we can support programs of national priority and visibility.”
