Christine Fuentes, vice president of marketing and communications at Amentum, has won WashingtonExec’s 2021 Pinnacle Award for Marketing Executive of the Year (Private Company).
WashingtonExec on Dec. 8 virtually unveiled the winners of the Pinnacle Awards, an annual program that embodies the WashingtonExec spirit of highlighting successful executives and businesses saving money and fostering innovation for federal clients across the region.
Fuentes noted a recent key achievement was helping take Amentum through its launch as an independent company through its first acquisition and integration with DynCorp International, especially during the pandemic.
Looking ahead, among other priorities, she remains excited about predictive maintenance and the ways it can optimize the reliability of equipment that warfighters rely on.
“Ultimately, the optimization of these technologies can save lives, and so I feel really good about our efforts in these areas,” Fuentes said.
