    John Vollmer, Amentum

    John Vollmer

    CEO, Amentum

Transformation and strong growth marked John Vollmer’s tenure as Amentum CEO last year during the successful integration of DynCorp International with Amentum.

Before its first birthday, Amentum became a company with over $6 billion in annual revenue and more than 30,000 employees working in 105 countries worldwide. With the September 2021 announcement that Amentum will acquire PAE, Amentum is poised to become one of the largest government services contractors with approximately $9 billion in annual revenue and over 50,000 employees working on all seven continents.

“It was another unconventional year, and every single employee had to continually adjust to achieve success,” Vollmer said. “The resilience demonstrated since our company launch has led to transformational growth and tremendous momentum.”

    Why Watch

In 2022, Vollmer will focus on completing the PAE acquisition and realizing its full potential, beginning with a successful integration and ultimately taking advantage of new opportunities open to a $9 billion company. The company is growing organically and is poised to continue growth through additional mergers and acquisitions.

Volmer is also leading efforts to make Amentum the place everyone wants to work and creating a culture where each person is valued. He recently welcomed a new member of his executive team to lead diversity, equity and inclusion, and develop and implement initiatives that advance the company’s business objectives and reinforce its culture.
