    Rocky Thurston

    Chief Operating Officer, DMI

Rocky Thurston joined DMI in January 2022 as chief operating officer, coming in as DMI continues its exceptional track record of success among its extremely talented workforce of more than 2,100 employees across the globe. He drives day-to-day company operations and is responsible for overall program delivery excellence and business growth.

“The expertise and winning attitude within the DMI team is incredible and there are no barriers to our ability to achieve greatness,” said Thurston. “It is our people, and the collaboration with clients, that will make DMI the company of choice for the organizations that we serve.”

Thurston has been impressed with DMI’s success in providing digital transformation in commercial and government segments. As the demand for digital solutions continues to thrive, DMI’s solid foundation helps clients integrate emerging technology and improve overall operations through digital strategy, design, transformation and support.

“Rocky’s successful leadership and management experience across commercial and government market segments has resulted in business growth and operational excellence,” said Sunny Bajaj, founder and CEO of DMI. “We look forward to seeing the positive impact he can bring to DMI and our clients.”

Prior to joining DMI, Thurston was the President of the Citizen Security and Public Services sector at Peraton. Thurston not only drove hyper-growth across the business with disruptive wins at DHS, DOS, DOL, state and local, and the USPS, but he also helped execute the integration of one of the largest GovCon mergers to ever be completed between Perspecta, NGIT, and Peraton.

    Why Watch:

Looking ahead to 2022 and his new role at DMI, Thurston will focus on ensuring the infrastructure is in place to continue to deliver human-centric innovation at scale for DMI’s clients and providing phenomenal career opportunities for employees. Building upon the strong momentum DMI has achieved, he will focus on driving the next phase of business growth tied with operational excellence.
