    Greg Clifton, Intel

    Greg Clifton

    Director, DOD & Intelligence, Intel

Greg Clifton’s team works with the customers and ecosystem partners to understand how new technology and offerings will positively impact the mission and then matching technology and solutions to mission challenges.

“We are focused on being a mission partner, not just a silicon provider,” he said.

During Clifton’s tenure, Intel has been the processing engine — the foundational technology — inside of many of the biggest deals awarded across the sector.

From cloud, XaaS and high-performance computing environments, to network modernization and 5G pilots, to computing on tactical platforms, and being a key supplier of processing power in the PCs deployed across the Defense Department, Intel has been a trusted partner to DOD for over 40 years.

This year, Intel made big changes by bringing in a new CEO and making major announcements around U.S.-based manufacturing with its IDM2.0 strategy and now offering commercial foundry services. This has led to new opportunities to partner with customers to build unique capabilities and expand the business.

    Why Watch

For 2022, Intel’s defense and intelligence team is focused on growth. With new client and data center products along with the foundry services coming to market in 2022, Clifton is growing the team to better reach and serve customers as they deploy solutions like intelligent edge, 5G, artificial intelligence, cyber and hybrid cloud to meet mission needs.
