Kevin Kelly, a 30-year defense and intelligence leader, has been appointed as CEO and chairman of Arcfield, effective immediately. The company previously known as CTFV Acquisition Corp. also revealed its new name.

“The United States must maintain a consistent technological advantage over its adversaries,” Kelly said. “We believe that together with our customers, we can play a vital role in developing and integrating leading-edge technologies into key national security missions to help our country and its allies preserve its space and cyber superiority.”

Prior to Arcfield, Kelly was president of CACI International’s national security and innovative solutions sector, where he reorganized the business with the creation of a $2.1 billion sector.

Prior to that, he spent 22 years at LGS Innovations in several roles including chief strategy officer, chief operations officer and eventually CEO, where he led the sale of LGS to a private equity partner in 2014 and eventually to CACI in 2019.

Kelly is also the founder and executive partner of MissionX, a partnership to build an advanced technology and innovation company focused on next-gen solutions for the defense, national security and intelligence missions.

Arcfield, a portfolio company of The Veritas Capital Vantage Fund, L.P., was formed in September when Peraton divested its systems engineering, integration and support services business, which became CTFV Acquisition Corp. The company builds on its 60 years of serving the defense and intelligence communities, with a portfolio of systems engineering and integration, C5ISR and digital transformation solutions.

As new CEO, Kelly will oversee Arcfield and its two sectors: space and intelligence, and defense and federal civilian.

“Additionally, as a valuable partner to the growing commercial space market, our team is currently evaluating technology investments to provide innovative solutions addressing critical market needs,” Kelly added. “I am excited to take the helm at such an important time and am focused on driving growth through innovation. We look forward to continuing this critical work in support of national security initiatives.”
