Jim Moos, Civil Group president at Leidos, has won WashingtonExec’s 2021 Pinnacle Award for National Security/DHS Executive of the Year.
WashingtonExec on Dec. 8 virtually unveiled the winners of the Pinnacle Awards, an annual program that embodies the WashingtonExec spirit of highlighting successful executives and businesses saving money and fostering innovation for federal clients across the region.
Moos noted one of his key achievements of 2020/2021 was spearheading the $1 billion transaction to acquire the L3Harris Technologies’ security detection and automation business in May 2020, successfully converting opportunities into key wins across Leidos’ civil portfolio, and remaining mission ready and committed to delivering major milestones for customers during a global pandemic.
Looking ahead, Moos says Leidos’ Civil Group is focused on modernizing infrastructure, systems and security for both government and highly regulated commercial customers.
