Alicia Harkness, a partner and the leader of Guidehouse’s Health segment, has won WashingtonExec’s 2021 Pinnacle Award for Healthcare Industry Executive of the Year (Private Company).
WashingtonExec on Dec. 8 virtually unveiled the winners of the Pinnacle Awards, an annual program that embodies the WashingtonExec spirit of highlighting successful executives and businesses saving money and fostering innovation for federal clients across the region.
Harkness noted her key achievement of 2020/2021 was being a part of the proposal strategy and multiyear implementation of the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Community Care program, which supports the legislative Mission Act giving veterans greater access to health care in VA facilities and the community while expanding benefits for caregivers.
Looking forward, Harkness remains focused on future-proofing organizations for the evolving health care environment.
