Under Sam Swenson’s leadership, ASRC Federal’s defense and intel operating group has continued to achieve significant strategic priorities for the organization and its customers, with 31% year-over-year growth for the division.
His group recently won a $360 million Air Force Installation Contracting Center’s Kirtland Engineering Operations Services contract, which furthered the company’s position as a leader in base operations and maintenance capabilities.
Additionally, Swenson successfully spearheaded the capture for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency’s Case Processing Operations Center contract, where he onboarded more than 700 employees during a global pandemic.
“Our team was challenged to remain focused on mission continuity while also being nimble during the pandemic, and they excelled,” Swenson said. “I am incredibly proud to be part of the ASRC Federal family as we support our customers and ensure national security on a daily basis.”
Swenson serves on the WashingtonExec DOD Council and has been an American Corporate Partners mentor for the past two years, supporting service members as they transition into the civilian workforce.

In 2021 and beyond, Swenson’s team will focus on continued growth and diversification of ASRC Federal’s work with the Army, Air Force and Defense Information Systems Agency in base operations, IT and cybersecurity. With an employee base growth of 14% so far this year, Swenson will continue to build a positive and fulfilling career path for his team to support critical customer missions.
