CEO, LexisNexis Special Services, LexisNexis Risk Solutions Government

Haywood Talcove’s greatest obligation as a CEO is the well-being of the company’s workforce; not just employees themselves, but their families and loved ones as well.

“This pandemic has added enormous additional burdens on workers, and I consider it a great achievement to have supported our business through the support of our people,” Talcove said.

In helping employees care for their families, LexisNexis Risk Solutions Government not only instituted flexible workplace options, but also created a program called “Parent Patrol.” It provides activities for employees to engage with their families and take time for their personal growth.

“I find it incredibly rewarding that as a result of our efforts, our Employee Opinion Survey scores are consistently among the highest in our industry,” Talcove said. “Our employees even voted LexisNexis Special Services Inc. as one of The Washington Post Top Workplaces in 2021.”

    Why Watch

Talcove’s team will continue its focus on the company’s core mission: stopping fraud, catching bad people and enabling digital government.

“We firmly believe that our solutions provide equity in the identity space, and they do not discriminate against already vulnerable populations,” Talcove said. “We consistently stop over $1 billion in fraud each day to federal and state benefits programs and help get critical aid into the hands of the neediest. We also ensure that hard-earned tax dollars stay out of the pockets of criminals.”

His team members will also focus on continuing to give back to the communities where they live through the LexisNexis Cares program. The company provides employees opportunities to support causes that are important to them and can make a positive impact for others. Plus, the company will continue its two-decade partnership with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children through the Automated Delivery of Alerts on Missing Children program.

“I consider it a privilege to be able to get up every day and lead a team that helps government agencies fight for the needy, protect the vulnerable and support the ideals of good government,” Talcove said. “We locate missing children, stop international fraud rings from robbing needed social services, and ensure that people who rely on benefits get them. It is a mission, not merely a job.”
