Despite that once-in-a-century context, Hogge and his team delivered mission impact for customers and grew their business, all while putting the safety and health of employees first.
“MITRE serves an incredible role in the United States,” Hogge said. “For over 60 years, MITRE has made its first priority serving the most critical needs of the United States. I am proud to say I am a part of that mission.”

Hogge is responsible for five of MITRE’s six federally funded research and development centers. As such, his focus and mission is incredibly diverse, ranging from the Federal Aviation Administration to the Internal Revenue Service/Treasury Department to the departments of Veterans Affairs, Homeland Security, Health and Human Services and to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
In every case, MITRE’s mission is to make customers’ mission its mission. Hogge’s team aims to deliver impactful solutions and services that make the nation a safer and healthier place for all Americans.
