General Manager of Public Sector, Devo

In 2021, Dan Wilbricht joined Devo as general manager of public sector, representing the company to federal, state, local and education agencies.

In his role, Wilbricht works with his team to improve the nation’s IT operations and cybersecurity posture.

His extensive background in growing and leading government teams to greatness made him a clear fit to join the Devo team, said Marc van Zadelhoff, Devo CEO.

“Dan’s ability to rapidly overcome challenges and present solutions for our government customers and partners will result in their meeting the executive order’s logging requirements to reach EL3 faster and with less cost than they thought were possible,” van Zadelhoff added.

Zadelhoff said Devo is excited to bring these capabilities to the larger public sector market under Wilbricht’s leadership.

“[We’re] thrilled to be working on new and innovative features and integrations that give our platform added context and scalability for government customers,” he added.

    Why Watch

Looking ahead, Wilbricht and his team are heavily focused on educating government cybersecurity leaders on how to quickly meet the guidance in the executive order on improving the nation’s cybersecurity, as it relates to logging, log retention and log management.

The public sector faces a quickly expanding risk landscape, and those on the front lines of defending the nation’s networks need technologies that can handle the volumes of data being generated, Wilbricht said.

“Devo is dedicated to arming public agency cybersecurity teams with total observability across their environments, giving them the insight needed to defend their networks against one of the biggest threats facing the nation,” he added.
