The 2021 Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards Gala is set for Nov. 3 from 5:30-9:00 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner in McLean, Virginia.
The awards, presented by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Services Council, honor the leaders and legends of the government contracting community. Finalists and winners are selected by a panel of industry and government professionals.
Award winners are announced at an evening gala, which has been dubbed the “Academy Awards of Government Contracting.” The event draws over 1,000 attendees from among the region’s top industry and government leaders.
The award categories include: Contractor of the Year in four revenue categories, Executive of the Year in three revenue categories, and Program of the Year.
Finalists in the Executive of the Year category with over $300 million in revenue include Damon Griggs of Dovel Technologies, Patricia D. Horoho of OptumServe, Nazzic Keene of SAIC and John Wasson of ICF.
In addition, an outstanding leader from the government contracting sector is inducted into the Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards Hall of Fame in honor of his or her lifetime achievements, and one individual is selected as the Public Sector Partner of the Year.
