Parsons Corp. has won a prime position on the U.S. Air Force’s multiple-award Eglin Wide Agile Acquisition Contract, which has a 10-year ordering period with a ceiling value of $46 billion.
The contract will provide digital and model-based systems engineering, agile processes, open systems architectures, weapons integration and data analytics for Eglin Air Force Base in Florida and its mission partners. The contract’s main goal is to provide rapid response to all areas and lifecycle phases of weapons development.
“With innovative solutions and decades of experience supporting the Department of Defense, we are committed to empowering the warfighter in tactical superiority across all-domain operations,” said James Lackey, senior vice president of Parsons’ integration and production.
Under the contract, Parsons will support activities to rapidly develop technologies of new weapons capabilities and characterize new technologies and system concepts that provide advanced capabilities for the Air Force.
“Parsons expertise in model-based systems engineering, agile development, systems hardware integration and architecture design support the Air Force in delivering the next generation of digitally-driven weapon systems,” Lackey said.
