The Aerospace Corp. announced three new appointments to its board of trustees: William LaPlante, Patricia Zarodkiewicz and Ray Rothrock.
“Our new board members have backgrounds that mirror the breadth and depth of Aerospace’s work across the space enterprise,” said Steve Isakowitz, Aerospace Corp. president and CEO.
LaPlante is president and CEO of Draper Laboratory, and has served as senior vice president and general manager at MITRE National Security and as assistant secretary of the Air Force for acquisition.
Zarodkiewicz, who is president of consulting firm PatZconsulting, is a former administrative assistant to the secretary of the Air Force. And Rothrock, venture capitalist and cybersecurity expert, founded and serves on the board of FiftySix Investments LLC and is the executive chairman of RedSeal Inc.
“From leading technology and cybersecurity expertise to deep understanding of national security space, these new members bring the knowledge of our customers, insights on emerging industry innovations, and vital experience critical to our mission,” Isakowitz said.
