    Geoff Howard, ManTech

    Geoff Howard

    Vice President for Health, ManTech

Geoff Howard leads strategy and program execution for federal health clients and has built what he describes as a “cohesive team that trusts and supports one another.”

“I have a great mix of people — some that have been with me since 2008, and others that have been added over the last few years with great new talent to support our strategic focus,” Howard said. “We have been tooling up for sustained growth.”

That end result, he said, is a number of important contract wins that position ManTech for even greater success in 2022 and the years ahead.

    Why Watch

“We have structured ourselves internally to be able to expand in multiple areas at once,” Howard said. “That means continued expansion in enterprise IT infrastructure and operations and DevSecOps and significant investments to expand our work in public health and medical research and development.”

The unit is working these priorities across all major federal health markets including the departments of Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services, and the Defense Health Agency.

“A great team must have both defined roles and a commitment to function as a cohesive unit,” Howard said. “That takes trust, respect and humility, and never happens by mistake.”

Howard’s team is also leveraging the advanced solutions developed by ManTech’s Innovation and Capabilities Office to solve customers’ toughest challenges. These advancements address five key technology focus areas: cognitive cyber, mission and enterprise IT, analytics, automation and artificial intelligence, intelligent systems engineering and data at the edge.

“We are firm believers that every job can be improved through innovation,” Howard said.
