Tarik Reyes has been hard at work bringing together three companies in a matter of months while supporting the nation’s COVID-19 response and continuing to win large marquee defense and civil health opportunities.
Reyes’ most recent achievement is integrating Peraton’s acquisitions of Northrop Grumman’s Federal IT and Mission Support Services Business and Perspecta. He worked to integrate the teams, cultures, business models and differentiated digital and infrastructure solutions into a new global health and financial solutions powerhouse to address the needs of the country and world in health security, financial security and citizen and community security.
Reyes is also proud of his work supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as Peraton leveraged its expertise in health care data, cloud technologies and DevSecOps. By using highly scalable, cloud-native services along with an event-driven architecture, Peraton deployed a COVID lab result solution in less than five weeks, which has handled over half a billion lab results and processes terabytes of data regularly.
This same architecture was used to support vaccine tracking, which helps CDC monitor every U.S. COVID vaccine from the time it leaves the factory to when it is administered to a patient.
