Rebecca Miller prides herself on being part of the leadership team assembled to help transform Salient CRGT as a major competitor in the full and open GovCon market.
That achievement required her team to balance strategic corporate objectives, win all of its recompetes, and increase the total contract value of its new business wins from an average size of $50 million to $100 million, all while continuing to care for its customers and people.
“I am thrilled with what we have accomplished,” Miller said. “Not only did we change the company’s trajectory, but we did so while winning multiple $100 million new business opportunities in white space customers with new technologies, creating career opportunities for our employees.”
Her team’s past year involved a larger number of recompetes than normal. Among her team’s successes was winning one of their largest recompete contracts at the Department of Veterans Affairs for enterprise network management at $207 million, which grew substantially in both size and scope against three formidable competitors.
Why Watch
In 2021, Miller’s team is heavily focused on continuing its growth trajectory. GovernmentCIO on July 9 announced the acquisition of Salient CRGT.
“Thankfully, we have gotten most of our large recompetes behind us,” Miller said.
This year, her team will work on growing its presence in the VA, Department of Health and Human Services and the Defense Health Agency with the combined talent and qualifications of the Salient CRGT and GovCIO teams.
