Technology provider Sev1Tech announced two awards on the General Services Administration’s new ASTRO indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract.
The contract has a potential value in the multibillions with no defined ceiling value and a potential 10-year ordering period.
The new contract consists of a family of 10 separate, individual contracts administered through GSA’s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center. ASTRO focuses on providing innovative, future technology, products, solutions and capabilities to the Defense Department across the all-domain battlespace.
“We look forward to working with GSA FEDSIM on this groundbreaking contract. The ASTRO team has a long history of collaborating with industry and putting out great solicitations” said Joe Re, Sev1Tech’s ASTRO corporate program manager and vice president of GWAC/IDIQ Center of Excellence.
“ASTRO is an exciting addition to our portfolio of best-In-class contract vehicles and will enhance our ability to deliver critical training and support capabilities to warfighters in sea, air, land and space,” Re said.
The scope includes operations, maintenance, readiness, research, development, systems integration and support for manned, unmanned and optionally manned platforms, as well as the services that support those platforms and robotics.
