Secure access solutions provider Appgate has tapped Jawahar Sivasankaran as president and chief operating officer.
Sivasankaran will lead growth strategy and oversee all go-to-market business operations, including sales, marketing, professional services and customer success. He will report to CEO Barry Field.

With over 23 years of experience in cybersecurity sales and technology, Sivasankaran brings a track record of leadership in large security businesses, with a focus on scaling software-as-a-service-based offerings.
Prior to joining Appgate, Sivasankaran led global security sales at Splunk. Prior to that, he held various senior positions at security giant Cisco.
