Technology solutions provider CACI International has added recently retired Army Maj. Gen. Peter Gallagher as a senior vice president responsible for national security technology.

“Pete’s depth of defense mission expertise, including a recent focus on convergence and modernization, and years of special operations experience, will accelerate our success in bringing software enabled technology to enhance, connect, and secure critical systems for our customers,” said CACI President of National Security and Innovative Solutions Todd Probert.

Gallagher has over three decades’ experience in top posts with the Army, the Defense Information Services Agency, the Joint Staff, the combatant commands and the Special Operations community. He will serve as principal adviser to the sector president and will lead the integration strategy of innovative technology solutions for national security customers.

“We welcome Mr. Gallagher and his significant national security experience to the CACI team,” said CACI President and CEO John Mengucci. “Pete’s expertise adds increased value to our customers’ critical missions across the multi-domain battlefield of today and tomorrow.”

Gallagher served most recently as the director of the Army Futures Command Network Cross-Functional Team. Since joining the Army in 1986, he served in a range of ascending positions, including commander of Network Enterprise Technology Command and the chief information officer/J6 of U.S. Central Command.
