    Jane Chappell, Altamira Technologies

    Jane Chappell

    CEO, Altamira Technologies Corp.

Jane Chappell has worked in the space industry for almost 40 years, spending more than 37 years at Raytheon before joining Altamira as CEO. Building on years of contributions to the space community, her latest accomplishments have focused on driving machine learning and automation into the national security space architecture.

Moving forward, Chappell and the Altamira team continue to partner with customers on new and more precise data analytics, visualization that discriminates across large quantities of data, and machine learning to assist operators regardless of data type: cyber, OPIR, EO, SAR or MASINT data.

“What I love about working with Altamira is we have the agility and innovation of a small company but the structure and capabilities of a larger company. This is a win-win for our customers,” Chappell said. “The number and types of space platforms are increasing. Being able to learn across the different types of sensors is a must and is our focus in 2021 and beyond. We partner with our customers to open new insights into the data that allow them to take action or make national security decisions.”

    Why Watch

Altamira works closely with its customers to apply advanced visualizations in large data, advancements in machine learning/artificial intelligence, and superior advanced analytics, company leaders said. It also supports the development of a critical new mission processing capability for the Space Force on a prototype project contract for the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution Mission Data Processing Applications Provider, which company leaders said draws on its extensive data analytics, sensor phenomenology, algorithm development and ML capabilities.
