Paul Meyer’s team supports 90% of all commercial and Defense Department launches. When he looks back on 2020, he considers his biggest achievement to be leading what he describes as an “incredibly talented team” as vice president of a newly consolidated product line at Raytheon Intelligence & Space, called Space & C2 Systems.

Headquartered in Aurora, Colorado, Space & C2 Systems provides space-enabled information and command and control systems solutions.

    Why Watch

In 2021, Meyer’s team is heavily focused on delivering breakthrough technology and all-domain mission solutions when speed and trusted information matters for a diverse set of customers, including NASA, NOAA, Space Force, Air Force and commercial partners. It’s developing key technologies across space-based weather and land imaging systems, and missile warning and defense programs critical to national security. It will also be busy supporting the launches across U.S. ranges.

Another aspect of Meyer’s team is Blue Canyon Technologies, a small satellite provider making space much more accessible.

“When it comes to space, we still only have one shot to get it right,” Meyer said. “There’s no fixing it after launch. That’s why the team at Raytheon Intelligence & Space is focused on delivering solutions across the space domain that work the first time, every time.”
