    Tony Smeraglinolo, Sincerus Global Solutions

Tony Smeraglinolo, CEO & Chair, Sincerus Global Solutions

A 40-year veteran in government contracting who previously was CEO for the $2 billion Engility Corp., Tony Smeraglinolo came out of retirement to help establish Sincerus Global Solutions Inc. early 2020. In July 2020, Sincerus acquired Science Applications International Corp.’s international civilian portfolio.

The portfolio’s primary focus is training, mentoring and advising for the State Department, and is well known to Smeraglinolo given its roots go back to MPRI Ltd., a company acquired by L-3 Inc. that was part of its spin out of Engility, which SAIC bought in 2019.

Having had the opportunity to create itself in 2020, Sincerus fully incorporated as its backbone state-of-the art cyber secure business and IT structure, Smeraglinolo said. This structure has been key in leading a workforce that is in 35 countries. This cybersecurity has also been a major thrust for the State Department, and in 2020 Sincerus began providing cyber training and mentoring to foreign governments under State Department direction.

    Why Watch

Smeraglinolo will lead Sincerus in 2021 to provide exemplary service to its State Department customer and to ensure its mission success. Sincerus will continue to expand and strengthen its organic capabilities especially in cyber training to meet that growing need. Additionally, Sincerus will explore acquiring additional capabilities and market channels as it executes its vision to be a market leader in the training/logistics market.
