A trusted adviser and member of Alion’s executive leadership team, Brian Fisher is responsible for all legal, export control, corporate governance and ethics and compliance. His team plays a significant role in Alion’s intellectual property program, and mergers and acquisitions, including divestiture of business units and the acquisition of strategic assets and companies. His passion for blending law and business translate to strategic growth, innovative technology patents and unique opportunities.
Fisher is focused on growing and protecting the business, anticipating risks and rapidly resolving issues that pose threats to the organization. He implements strategic business solutions to solve complex legal, organizational and regulatory issues.
A data-driven leader, Fisher reduced Alion’s controllable outside legal costs by nearly 20%; revamped Alion’s IP process to better and more quickly serve its rapidly growing IP portfolio; and currently is reforming the company’s ethics and compliance program to include targeted, module-based exercises that will enable leaders and managers to tailor certain aspects of the content to fulfill site-, project- or employee-specific needs.

With a 12-year business operations foundation, plus legal experience of more than 25 years, Fisher has worked for or represented some of the nation’s most prominent defense contractors in the aerospace, intelligence and IT industries. His background includes experience in private practice, at the Office of Federal Procurement Policy, and as in-house counsel.
A life-long lover of learning, Fisher in the past year earned an executive certificate in strategy and innovation and just completed the requirements for an executive certificate in management and leadership from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Fisher also graduated magna cum laude with a degree in business management from Southern New Hampshire University, has a law degree from New England School of Law and earned highest honors in his Master of Laws in government procurement law from The George Washington University.
