    John Moberly, LeoLabs Federal

As the newly hired president for LeoLabs Federal, John Moberly is responsible for developing and integrating all facets and capabilities to meet the urgent needs of the U.S. government, including national security space of the Space Force and the National Reconnaissance Office as well as NASA, NOAA and other government agencies.

His leadership comes at a time when the space domain is rapidly changing and becoming more congested and contested. The U.S. critically needs capabilities to detect events and track objects in orbit and ultimately maintain a chain of custody of them in order to provide protection and space traffic management.

Moberly is leading LeoLabs in bringing its network of radars to provide the ability to revisit satellites many times per day and track from launch to end of life and de-orbit. LeoLabs provides advanced analytics and data services.

    Why Watch

Moberly’s depth of space and intelligence experience combined with his leading knowledge in machine and deep learning applications, data analytics and radar capabilities will allow LeoLabs to swiftly expand its market base into solving some of the most threatening and time-dominant space domain awareness challenges, company leaders said.

Moberly enjoys collaborating with mission partners and industry teammates, ensuring U.S. space assets can focus on their critical missions while receiving timely indications and warnings for collision avoidance and threats to systems.
