    Dave Ziegler, ASRC Federal

Under Dave Ziegler’s leadership, ASRC Federal’s defense space division has delivered critical support to his customers while navigating the challenges posed by the pandemic.

Working with his 500-person team, Ziegler has significantly expanded work with customers in the federal space market.

An astronautical engineer by education, Ziegler has a passion for the nation’s space mission. In addition to his executive position at ASRC Federal, he works with the Space Development Agency to help lead development of its new Tranche 0 warfighting ground segment enterprise.

Ziegler is considered a powerful role model for the division’s technical teams partnered with the Space Force, Air Force, Navy and Army.

He is a retired Air Force officer and has a son currently serving in the branch.

“My commitment to our nation runs deep,” Ziegler said. “I consider myself fortunate to have been able to serve both in uniform, and now as a part of ASRC Federal.”

    Why Watch

In 2021, Ziegler’s division will focus on bolstering its talent with the technology required to keep pace with a rapidly evolving space market. His team will look to expand the addressable market for the division.

Other priorities will include advancing ASRC Federal’s machine learning, advanced analytics and data science suite of tools — a technology that was recently integrated with operational centers — and providing the customer with actionable intelligence.
