Industry leader Tod Weber has been named senior vice president and general manager of C3 AI Federal Systems to bring the benefits of enterprise AI to the federal government and related industries.

“Tod has had an incredibly impressive career leading organizations focused on delivering the benefits of enterprise software to the federal government and associated industries,” said C3 AI CEO Thomas M. Siebel.

In his new role, Weber will play a vital role in further accelerating the progress C3 AI has made to develop and supply enterprise AI solutions to the U.S. government, Siebel added.

Weber has over 35 years’ experience in the technology sector. Before joining C3 AI, he served for more than eight years as CEO and chairman of Software AG Government Solutions. He joined Software AG through its acquisition of webMethods in 2007, where he was a vice president.

“The introduction of enterprise AI represents the next giant leap forward in the advancement of software technology,” Weber said. “The federal government, along with the aerospace and defense industries, is ready for digital transformation. C3 AI has already proven the value we can deliver to government agencies, and I am honored to have the opportunity to join this exceptionally talented team to help build on those accomplishments.”
