Mission critical space solutions provider Redwire announced the hiring of retired Air Force Col. Dean Bellamy as its executive vice president of National Security Space, effective May 10.
Col. Bellamy comes to Redwire from national security technology company Peraton, where he was vice president of Space Strategies and Development. In that position, he produced long-range strategies to help Peraton meet its space portfolio’s objectives and took an active role in their implementation.
At Redwire, he will help to set and achieve new space development goals while meeting the needs of Redwire’s national security customers.
“Dean brings proven industry expertise and leadership to Redwire that will further accelerate our strategic growth in the national security space sector,” said Redwire’s Chief Growth Officer and Executive Vice President of Space Infrastructure Al Tadros.
“Dean’s deep understanding of space policy and national security makes him uniquely positioned to build key relationships and strategies in this new role,” Tadros said.
