Technology and services integrator SOS International LLC has been awarded a 5-year $13 million task order under the National Institute of Health IT Assessment Acquisition & Assessment Center’s Chief Information Officer – Solutions and Partners 3 contract.
It calls on SOSi to continue providing on-site preventative, predictive and remedial maintenance for the mainframes, peripherals and software at two of the Internal Revenue Service’s computing centers in West Virginia and Tennessee.
SOSi’s hardware team and maintenance engineers have ensured the 24x7x365 availability of these critical IRS systems since 2015 while meeting its response time, downtime and repair-time requirements.
“The IRS’s tax collection capabilities are dependent upon the constant integrity of its mainframe processing environment at the facilities we maintain,” said SOSi President and CEO Julian Setian. “We are proud to continue supporting the IRS mission to provide these vital government services.”
