Novetta has promoted two experienced executives to new roles in an effort to unify its technology portfolio and expand its information exploitation division.

Kevin Heald, formerly vice president of information exploitation, was tapped as senior vice president of the division, where he’ll run enterprise solutions and emerging technologies, drive growth and support law enforcement, defense and intelligence customers.

Michael Thieme, formerly vice president of special projects, was promoted to senior vice president and chief technology officer. In those roles, Thieme will lead and oversee product development, research and the mission-driven technical culture.

Novetta President and CEO Tiffanny Gates said Heald has been dedicated to customer missions.

“He is at the forefront of integrating new technologies into solutions, has been instrumental in recent contract wins, and drove the expansion to open Novetta’s new offices in San Antonio,” she said.

Gates said Thieme’s passion for bringing new capabilities to customers is “a perfect fit” for Novetta’s diverse missions.

“Aligning Novetta’s significant technology investments under Michael’s leadership will further strengthen our product portfolio and drive innovative solution development,” she said.
