DynCorp International has been awarded a $32.5 million contract to provide organizational, maintenance and logistics services at the Navy’s training center in Fallon, Nevada.

The firm-fixed price, cost reimbursable indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract with the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division began Feb. 1 with work expected to be finished in September.

“We’ve held this contract since 2015 and are excited to continue our work to help train the Navy warfighter at Fallon,” said Joe Dunaway, president of DynAviation.

DynCorp team members will continue to provide organizational, selected intermediate, and limited depot level maintenance and logistics services in support of aircrafts, including the F/A-18A-F, EA-18G, MH-60S, F-16A/B, and E-2C. Work will be performed at the Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center in Fallon.

NAWDC at Naval Air Station Fallon is the center of excellence for naval aviation training and tactics development. The center provides service to aircrews, squadrons and air wings throughout the U.S. Navy through flight training, academic instructional classes, and direct operational and intelligence support. It is also the home for the famous Navy Top Gun program.

DynCorp currently supports daily training missions with the F-16 Viper, F-18 Hornet and Super Hornet, EA-18G Growler, E-2C Hawkeye and the MH-60S Seahawk, conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on more than 40 individual aircraft.
